Since this month, DHL has been both the new logistics partner and the new social partner of Willem II. The logistics service provider and the Willem II Betrokken foundation are entering into a partnership for two years in which various social projects will be supported. DHL is also the new carrier of the Willem II fanshop orders.
Pieter Jansen, chairman willem II Involved: 'Our foundation was founded almost two years ago and since then a lot has been done to put Willem II Involved on the map. The fact that DHL is now our social partner is a great development for the foundation. We look forward to this new collaboration with the market leader in logistics services.'
DHL is also the new carrier of the Willem II webshop orders since this month. DHL Parcel delivers all merchandise from the Willem II webshop to supporters' homes or to a DHL ServicePoint in the Netherlands. Michel Clausing, VP Sales & Customer Service at DHL: 'As the largest logistics service provider, we are also very socially involved. We connect the Tilburg football club with its fans by delivering Willem II articles and we build the future together with Willem II Betrokken. This makes it a very appropriate partnership.'
DHL will also place a locker in the parking lot in front of the King Willem II stadium. This is a parcel safe from which consumers can pick up and deliver their packages. This locker naturally gets matching red-white-blue accents.
